CommuniCast Myanmar 2015 & The International Myanmar ICT Exhibition 2015 successfully combine to present Opportunities Driven By Connectivity

The 2nd successful edition of CommuniCast Myanmar 2015 combined and co-located for the first-time ever with The International Myanmar ICT Exhibition 2015 taking place from 17th to 19th November at Myanmar Event Park (MEP), in downtown Yangon. The combined events provided a much needed international professional platform for Myanmar’s fast emerging and rapidly developing ICT and telecommunications industries.

The shows were opened by a large VVIP delegation including; H. E. U Nyan Tun U, Minister of Science & Technology, U Soe Thein, Acting Director General, Posts and Telecommunications Department, Ministry of Communication & Information Technology, U Khun Oo, President, Myanmar Computer Federation (MCF), U Min Zeyar Hlaing, President, Myanmar Computer Industry Association (MCIA), U Ye Yint Win, President, Myanmar Computer Professional Association (MCPA), U Thein Oo, Patron, Myanmar Computer Federation (MCF) and U Win Aung, President of The Union of Myanmar Federation of Chamber of Commerce (UMFCCI).

Our country is changing and information about ICT development is essential for us to drive forward during this transition period. CommuniCast Myanmar 2015 & The International Myanmar ICT Exhibitions2015presented 138 exhibitors from 24 countriesincluding 5 international pavilions from Singapore x 2, India, Ontario (Canada) and Thailand and staged leading industry events including the 2nd successful Myanmar Satellite Forum 2015and the ICT Forum Live!, and added the Myanmar Software Start-Up showcase too.

In terms of trade visitors, CommuniCast Myanmar 2015 & The International Myanmar ICT Exhibitions 2015 delivered 2,511 quality trade buyers from 24 countries. Showing a 20% increase from the previous year and with exhibitors giving excellent feedback onsite including;
